End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Course
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Project is a national end- of- life educational program administered by the City of Hope and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing designed to enhance palliative care in nursing. This course will provide end-of-life nursing education including and overview of Palliative care, pain and symptom management, legal and ethical issues, communication, culture, loss, grief and bereavement and final hours.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
All attendees will actively participate during, break-out sessions and score at least 80% on the post test, attendance for both days is required.
Target Audience
Nurses, advance practice providers, social workers, chaplains and other health care professionals.
