Oncology Insight: Introduction to Radiation Oncology

LEARNING OUTCOME

By the end of this session, the learner will be able to identify key radiation oncology treatment principles, recognize common radiation therapy side effects and appropriate nursing interventions, and describe the nurse's role in supporting patients throughout radiation treatment, as measured through a post-session survey evaluating the learner’s confidence in these areas.
